Please welcome Ananda’s Yoga Teacher Trainees!

On September 19th ten radiant souls began the 2008-2009 Ananda Yoga Teacher Training Program. It was a lovely first weekend together. The program is a 200+ hour training program that meets for 11 weekends spanning 7 months. Topics of study include asana study and practice, pranayam, astral body, “How to Teach Ananda Yoga”, Meditation, Yoga Philosophy and Lifestyle, applied anatomy and much more! The program is co-taught by Willow Kushler and Murali Venketrao. Murali brings great humor and delight to the often dreaded study of anatomy. Chocolate somehow works it’s way into the content each class!

If you have an interest in taking the program in the future now is a good time to begin preparations. Please email Willow Kushler or call her at 425-806-3700.

Check the yoga schedule and visit one of Ananda’s many classes. Remember that Yoga is for Everyone

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! to the 10 radiant souls who recently completed the 7-month 200-hour Ananda Yoga Teacher Training Program. It has been a long journey, one that has required a lot of effort, discipline, honest self-analysis and dedication. Their commitment and willingness has been a source of joy and inspiration. Blessings to you all as you venture forth to share your inspiration, knowledge and experience of Yoga with other kindred spirits. May the grace and blessings of the great masters shine upon on you.

Joining this program were 3 previously certified Ananda Yoga Teachers who offered their support and magnetism to the class. Thank you Carole, Lajjana and Louise!

A special thank you to Chandi Holliman, Shampa Chakrabarti, Jeanne Garthwaite and all the helpers who put on a fabulous multi-coursed celebratory feast for the Graduation dinner! A meal made of love was the perfect ending to this journey of devotion and joy!

Now we come to the practice of Yoga.

The next Yoga Teacher Training program begins September 19, 2008.
