Designed for graduates of Level 1 Meditation classes but open to all, this weekly session includes a complete but guided practice of meditation including simple stretches, chanting, breath control techniques and silent meditation. Each session will have a discussion period and a theme based on positive attitude or meditation techniques. No need to register - just come meditate!

Presented by Nayaswami Hriman McGilloway or teaching staff.

This 3-session course includes in-class practice, tips on establishing your practice at home, online guided meditations, written instructions, unlimited (no-charge) re-take policy, and ongoing support in-person or online.In this class you will learn:

  • How to use simple stretches and breath-control techniques to release tension and relax the body.
  • How to concentrate the mind.
  • How to use imagery, affirmation, and chanting to be calm and peaceful.

Meditation has been scientifically proven to be beneficial to the health of body, mind and spirit. Meditation is for everyone and requires no outward affiliation or belief system.

Learn and practice time-tested breath techniques ("pranayama") to help calm the "monkey" mind and deepen our experience of meditation.

Levels 2, 3 and 4 classes are designed for those with Level 1 or equivalent training and can be taken in any order.

Meditation for Starters

This 1-hour class is an introduction to the Learn to Meditate series (Levels 1-4). We’ll use simple breath control exercises, practice sitting positions, and learn how to use visualizations. Your $5 class fee will apply to the Learn to Meditate Level 1 class.

Level 4 of the Meditation series expands and integrates Levels 1 – 3 into a greater understanding of the process of spiritual awakening and the higher stages of meditation. Subjects include: levels of consciousness, energy, magnetism, chanting, prayer, affirmation, 8-Fold Path and meditation.
